titanium allergy

I am told a titanium plg was inserted in between an ankle bone to lift the arche.i have the same in the other ankle for 4 yrs. without any affect.I have sores around my shoulders. I don't know if it is insect bites or the metal. I also have a pin for the bunionectomy. I assume that is also titanium.
