If titanium is used in airplane engines can it evaporize to nothing when a plane crashes or crashes and burst into flaimes? I.E. a plane crashes into the twin towers

I am having an argument with a friend. I believe that when the planes flew into the Twin Towers that the intensisty of the heat evaporated the plane and all components.
