1Hey Brian. I work for the largest jewelry company in the world so here you go. Titanium rings are extremely tough and I recommend them to people who work a lot with their hands ie: construction workers, mechanics and so on. However they can not be sized up or down if you should gain or lose weight. They do still scratch and can not be polished. Also, if you are in a major accident and there is heavy trauma that causes your hands to swell, EMT's can not defibrilate your heart with metal on your body. The titanium is too strong to cut off so they must remove your finger instead. Kind of morbid huh? Good luck!
