is titanium alloy also a metal or iron?

Answers:

1First, iron is a metal like titanium. Second, an alloy is any mixture of two metals or a metal and non-metal. In the case of titanium alloys, you usually have titanium to give strength and some other metal to give perhaps less weight (like aluminum). An alloy of titanium and aluminum could be an alloy of either depending in which one predominates, but we wouldn't call it a metal but a metal alloy.
